The plot lies on the northern edge of the built up area of Erlenbach where loose fitting structures pass into agricultural areas. The design suggests the construction of two three-storey buildings of nearly identical size and with a very convincing structural logic. In the building to the north the longitudinal walls are predominant, while in the building to the south the transversal prevail. This measure creates a very defined relation with the surrounding landscape and provides an attractive starting point for the disposition of the three apartments per storey. The adopted structural scheme forms compartmentalised layouts of rare purity and spatial balance.
