The task of enlarging an existing school complex through an extension is seen as an opportunity to clarify and greatly enhance an undifferentiated situation. Rather than a contrast to the existing building substance, through the spatially and contextually precise extension building, a new overall facility is proposed that achieves high-quality identity while also explicitly enhancing the existing building stock.
