The five building volumes are placed around a central area from which they are accessed. The setting emphasizes the local topography and offers fascinating views of the surrounding landscape as well as views of the city of Aarburg. The qualities of the outside areas are transferred to the differentiated floorplan typologies. The stories are divided into two or three apartments and the buildings are efficient on both the structural and the domestic installation level. The limpid structure shows variegated options for the floorplans of the approximately 145 apartments. These measures help achieve the extensive requirements of the 2000-Watt-society.
