The overall composition follows the underlying urbanistic logic, which, on the one hand, through the four building volumes produces a spatially serene arrangement that relates clearly to street or courtyard, however, on the other hand, also guarantees the desired staged division. In addition, the resulting interesting through- and inside-views between courtyard and street result reveal high quality options from both perspectives for habitation and lingering. At least two-sides of each of the approximately ninety-four apartments are oriented towards courtyard and street. The apartments are especially distinguished by their ground plan typologies. Although appearing spatially generous, the surface area is nonetheless used in an astonishingly efficient way. The pre-existing topography is largely maintained in the sense of a sustainable and economic solution and is slightly terraced in the courtyard. The usage of the plinth towards Le Corbusier Platz contributes to a further enhancement of the location, and beyond the proposed restaurant, daycare as well as the community center, helps this new place to clearly address social aspects.
