The residential building is set on a northern slope in Riehen with a stunning view. The floorplan broaches the issue of the spiralling spatial continuum, focussing on the attractive polymorphic central stair. The unusual floorplan manifests itself in the staggered position of the windows in the facade that break up and enrich the building’s compact volume. The dominant color both on the inside and the outside is white and the slightly irregular structure of the facade’s surface gives the building a more massive appearance.
