Historical maps of the area show that between 1900 and 1905 the perimeter block development was dissected by a subsequently added passage in the exact location of the building plot. The design picks up this fascinating aspect and intends to enhance it. The «soft» irregular wooden structure reaches out and clarifies the urban situation of the site. The floorplans with multiple apartments create interesting spatial twists and integrate themselves into the urban context in a sophicated way.
