The location is defined by detached medium rise residences; expressing a representative and generous urban space. Presenting a ‘point-like’ urban grain, the site allows clear perspectives between the houses allowing the eye to recognize the depth of the neighborhood. In the sense of continuing this strong urban identity, the program will be answered with four new point-like buildings, housing 19 dwellings.
The apartments are developed through a succession of rooms with different entry points, allowing interesting perspectives across the spaces. Having each floor one apartment, they profit from abundant sunlight throughout the day and countless views of the surrounding gardens. The dwellings at the top are developed between two floors, offering stunning panoramic views and open terraces all while keeping a vertical relationship with the main living floor.
The façades incorporate the aspects and concept of the neighborhood with subtlety by adjusting the use of different kinds of brick amongst the houses. The building volumes are characterized by the their various graduation in heights, simultaneously complying with current building laws while visually undermining them.
