The design for three residential buildings in Reinach demonstrates that high quality dwellings can be created despite challenging exterior constraints. To the east the plot is separated from the highway by a forested piece of land and to the west is bordered by the busy Baslerstrasse. The massive noise exposure led to the development of an equally innovative and functional layout based on the building spanning, well lit and easily furnishable diagonal living and dining areas. The well balanced positioning of the buildings create pleasant outside areas open to the forest.
